HEVATECH deploys its TURBOSOL® technology at Eurofloat in Salaise-sur-Sanne

We are pleased to announce the signing of a contract between Eurofloat (a joint venture of Saint-Gobain and Riou Glass) and HEVATECH for the deployment of an industrial waste heat recovery solution at the Salaise-sur-Sanne site.

Using TURBOSOL technology, thermal waste from the glass manufacturing process will be converted into decarbonized electricity for on-site self-consumption, as well as useful heat recovered locally. This project will directly contribute to reducing Eurofloat’s CO₂ emissions.

Beyond its environmental benefits, this partnership demonstrates the ability of French industry to reconcile economic competitiveness with industrial decarbonization, by deploying proven, large-scale technologies.

Construction has now begun, with industrial commissioning scheduled for late 2026.
